Blowing Point. Anguilla
This was once one of my favourite beaches to spend hours on end with my friends. It was the first beach I visited on my first morning in Anguilla. It's at this beach that I learnt to hold my breath under water, for 4 tire-lengths long; it's the beach where a bonfire warmed the best of my friends, the night before my best friend met in a fatal car accident after leaving the fire's embers and our final moments together.
Now, seaweed seems to have the best of it; however, every now and then, I visit this place to relive some of my happiest moments of childhood with my daughter. For certain, 'tings and time' have changed but so is this thing called, climate change.
